Autumn in Tuscany
A weekend in La Bandita a beautiful house set in the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside.
On the first night, a famous local chef Dania Massoti who has run the La Chiusa restaurant in Montefollonico for 35 years (and has had two cookery bibles published!) will cook you an unforgettable seven course tasting menu. This menu will be paired with wines from a top wine producer and you will be talked through each individually.
During the first day, the guests that want to learn Tuscan cooking techniques can book a personal half-hour cookery session with Dania, where you can select which dish you cook. Dania will also be making you lunch so if you want to, you can help with this too!
On the second day, there will be a wine tasting at the Sesti Vineyard, which is a family-run vineyard that produces award-winning Brunellos. This will be hosted by Guiseppe Sesti himself (the owner and winemaker), who will talk you through his top wines and work. Here you will feast on a delicious lunch in a beautiful setting under a 11th century watchtower.
In the afternoon back at La Bandita, you have the choice of either another cookery demonstration or a Brunello masterclass with John Voigtmann (the owner of La Bandita) talking you through five different top-rated Brunellos.
La Bandita’s in house chef, with his own modern take on traditional italian dishes and ingredients, will prepare another seven course tasting menu on your second night, again with matching wines from the best producers of the region.

Optional extra activities that will be available on the weekend include a variety of spa treatments or yoga classes.
The aim of the weekend is for you to relax and experience the delights of the region’s wines and its excellently prepared cuisine.
